“ After endless recommendations to come and check out this Brazilian bakery, I finally paid them a visit! While in the area I happened to be craving desperately some pao de queijo and I knew exactly where I needed to go. I felt like I was in Brazil from the moment I pulled up into the parking lot til the moment I left. They have so many delicious Brazilian baked goods, sweets, breads, food, snacks, drinks and MORE. It was so fun to be able to try this place. Even though I only came specifically for the pao de queijo (which by the way is extremely cheap!), I can't wait to be back again and try other items. ”

“ Like the first review, omg those cochinas are amazing. Got my friend hooked on them too. I regularly go there, and have tried many things from their bakery end and am always impressed. Just had their cheese bread this morning (3rd time), which I have to get the name of that is similar to a stromboli, with ham and tomatoes.... so delicious. Staff is extremely friendly and warm so not only being a place with very tasty and fresh food, you have good people running the place too. I still need to try the buffet but it always looks fresh and very inviting, and there are always families there eating. One thing, since it is busy get there early... got there at noon today on a Sunday... only one cochina left. ”
“ I came here for one magical thing. They call them Cochinas (coh-chee-nus)... I'll get to those in a moment. The location is a casual bakery offering hot Brazilian food buffet style. While I was there they had a green soup (I wanted to try it badly but I was in a terrible hurry), yucca fries, chop meat with cilantro and corn, pasta, and other dishes that looked fresh and delicious. The service felt like nothing I've seen in my area. My four-year-old dropped her bottle of Snapple and it shattered on the floor. Then things got incredible. The staff (some very warm middle-aged ladies) came running from behind the counter to console her as she began to cry...they picked her up (normally this would feel weird but it felt like home) and spoke to her in Portuguese, language that she doesn't understand, some stuff along the lines of "don't cry, it'll be okay, it was only an accident). AND THEN.....they gave her another Snapple, didn't charge me for it, and gave her a piece of candy. I was in utter shock. Oh but the Cochinas. It's a ball of yucca mash, crusty on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. In the center, they're filled with deliciously seasoned and shredded white meat chicken and cream cheese. They're freshly made to order. I've never had such a snack. $2. Padamina will certainly be a regular place for me to visit when I'm back in Danbury. ”
